#9 Steins;Gate
So, this one is hard to talk about because I want to avoid spoilers. Knowing anything about this show going into it is going to ruin the experience for you. It’s one of those shows that starts out extremely slow; at first you feel like you’re wasting your time because nothing is really happening. But a couple of episodes in, the show really starts to pick up. The characters are the whole reason you want to watch this one; every one of them feels like a real person, with their own motivations, goals, and desires. You really start to care about all of them. Every great story is carried by the quality of its characters, and Steins;Gate is one of the best in that area. It’s a roller coaster of emotions from start to finish, and definitely worth the watch.
