#8 LOG HORIZON
Log Horizon takes the “stuck in a video game” idea and actually does something worthwhile with it. This anime does a wonderful job at world building and allowing the characters to build the world around them. Every decision that the main cast of characters makes actively affects the world around them and you are there to witness how the characters learn and progress with the world. Especially come the second season when everything shifts into high gear and the stakes get upped to 11. This anime is special for me because it proved to me that the “stuck in a video game” idea can work wonders as long as there is a competent team behind the project.
