#6 Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid
I stand by my decision to put this anime higher up on the list for one reason. It knows how to portray beautiful, healthy relationships between people. Relationships between people are complicated. They don’t make sense a lot of the times but when they work, they work. This anime tackles the core ideas of relationships both romantic and platonic, handling it in a mature and sensible manner. Despite the cutesy exterior, or the oblivious walking sexual innuendo known as Lucoa, this is a serious adult show that I love sharing with people due to the subject matter. This is a feel-good show that makes you think and I can appreciate that wholeheartedly.
